Mathias Audit to moderate a Paris Arbitration Week panel on the complex interplay between economic sanctions and international arbitration

Mathias Audit will moderate the panel discussion “Arbitration and Sanctions: Duo or Duel?”, co-hosted by the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Law School and ICC France, as part of the upcoming 2024 edition of the Paris Arbitration Week.

A hot-button issue, as the Russia-Ukraine war enters its third year and following the recent adoption of EU’s 12th sanctions package.

The roundtable will feature esteemed peers and practitioners Sylvain Bollée (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), Emmanuel JOLIVET (ICC France), Gabriele Ruscalla (Liedekerke), Marie Stoyanov (Allen & Overy), and Marco Torsello (ARBLIT – Radicati di Brozolo Sabatini Benedettelli Torsello).

The event will take place on Thursday 21 March at 5:00 pm at the Sorbonne Law School, 17 rue de la Sorbonne, Paris.
