Partner Pierre Duprey was invited as a guest speaker to the panel “Ordre public and Révision au fond – A comparison between judicial practice in Germany and France”, co-hosted by Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V. (DIS) German Arbitration Institute and the Association Francaise d’Arbitrage, as part of the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days 2025.

The panelists explored how German and French courts address public policy concerns in light of the prohibition against reviewing arbitral awards on the merits.

Pierre spoke alongside esteemed colleagues from both jurisdictions, Nils Schmidt-Ahrendts (HANEFELD), Prof. Gerhard Wagner (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) and Basile Zajdela (SCP FOUSSARD – FROGER).

The roundtable was moderated by Thomas Granier (Anima Dispute Resolution) and Kirstin Schwedt (SCHWEDT Dispute Resolution).
