Audit Duprey Fekl and Eurogroup Consulting were pleased to co-host a roundtable on Thursday, 13 February 2025, at the Hôtel de l’Industrie, on the theme: “Exercising Sovereignty: Managing Dependencies, Exercising Autonomy,” moderated by Emiland d’Alincourt, Partner at Eurogroup Consulting.
Following opening remarks by Gilles Bonnenfant, President of Eurogroup Company, Marc Ferracci, Minister Delegate for Industry and Energy (Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty), launched the discussion by highlighting today’s key sovereignty-related challenges.
Our panelists — Magali Cesana (French Treasury), Thomas Courbe (Directorate General for Enterprises), Olivier Flous (Thales), Hélène Madar Broutart (BPCE Group), and Alexis Zajdenweber (French Government Shareholing Agency) — shared valuable insights on topics including:
- the broadening of the concept of sovereignty to new economic sectors;
- derisking strategies across value chains;
- capital mobilisation for sovereign and critical industries and technologies;
- and the cost of sovereignty for both public and private actors.
The evening concluded with closing remarks by Matthias Fekl, Founding Partner at Audit Duprey Fekl.
We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers and their teams for the quality of their contributions, and to our many guests for their attendance and engagement.
